A Story of Resilience and Adaptation
Greenway led the design and construction of the Black Bear and Coyote exhibit at Sequoia Park Zoo, collaborating closely with the Bear River Band of Rohnerville Rancheria, the City of Eureka, and the Zoo Foundation. The $3.5 million project spans one acre, providing meaningful habitat for both species and educational opportunities for visitors.

Arcata Fire Department
Elevating Safety: Revitalizing Arcata Fire Station Greenway spearheaded a strategic planning process for Arcata Fire, involving community members, fire personnel, and board members. This led to the decision to modernize existing facilities instead of pursuing a costly new one. Greenway then designed updated facilities that met current needs while allowing for future growth. Transforming a historical volunteer station into a modern facility for a full-time fire department in Arcata's historical district posed challenges, requiring innovative solutions.
