With funding from Proposition 39 The California Clean Energy Jobs Act, Greenway led 12 school districts in Northern California through all phases of energy efficiency projects over the course of five years. Greenway worked closely with staff and leadership at each district to audit the energy use of each facility and recommend priorities for investment of bond funds. We then designed energy investments and managed the construction of projects that would reduce operating expenses and improve learning environments and outcomes for students. Tens of thousands of watts of new solar panels were installed, lighting was upgraded and modernized and heating systems were upgraded across multiple school campus locations.
