Through our partnership with Fogline Trail Systems and the Humboldt Trails Council, Greenway created over 11 miles of new single track mountain bike trails on 8000 acres of Bureau of Land Management property 45 minutes east of Arcata, CA. The Lacks Creek Management Area client team at BLM, wanted to create a recreational attraction that would increase sustainable use of the area. Greenway staff and our team designed and constructed a series of downhill and flow trails for mountain bikers; developing a sustainable trail corridor, shaping, finishing and constructing enduro features, single track routes as well as mapping, installing signage, coordinating volunteer work days, and managing grants.
