Sara Demetroff

As a Project Manager at Greenway Partners, Sara works to improve the efficiency, comfort, health, and safety of the built environment. She takes account of the complete building system, the life-cycle of equipment and materials selected, as well as the goals and intentions of the users when assessing project priorities with Greenway clients.

She successfully facilitates the collaboration of interdisciplinary teams including, clients, contractors, banks, and funders. Sara has a talent for understanding complex regulatory and technical details, and can clearly convey difficult information to clients and team members. She is an effective public speaker who is also capable of communicating through print or web based media and graphic organization.

With a background conducting community outreach in the non-profit sector and education about renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies, Sara provides a valuable knowledge base on the benefits of various technologies, incentives, and financing options that are available to help clients realize their goals.

Sara has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture from The Ohio State University, and holds a National Board of Certified Energy Practitioners entry-level certificate for photovoltaic system design. A product of the Humboldt County Green Jobs Training Program, Sara holds several energy related certificates and has gained valuable experience involving renewable energy and energy efficiency design.

When she is not at Greenway, Sara likes to volunteer with local non-profits, including serving on the Board of the Humboldt Trails Council. She enjoys running, riding her bike, taking her dog to the beach, and spending time in the mountains and rivers in the lovely northwest.
