Nathan Sanger, P.E.

Nathan is a Project Manager who loves his job and brings a lot of hustle and enthusiasm to every project he takes on. His zeal for work is complemented by his work experience and his licensure as a registered civil engineer.

He has a broad array of work experience with projects related to sustainability, including green site development, developing and delivering clean water, and contaminated site clean up. Nathan’s work at Greenway builds on his previous work experience with an emphasis on human centered design and sustainable development of community projects.

Nathan carries a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Resources Engineering from Humboldt State University. He believes that his combination of educational credentials gives him a unique and powerful skillset which empowers him to be an engineer who can not only design, but can also listen, communicate, and implement projects that truly meet needs and exceed expectations of their proponents.

Giving back to the community that has given him so much has always been important to Nathan who has been actively involved and volunteered as: a big brother and annual fundraiser for Bowl For Kids Sake for the North Coast Big Brothers Big Sisters organization, as a laborer for the Hurricane Katrina relief effort with Hands On, as clean water coordinator for the California Public Interest Research Group (CALPIRG), and as board member of the North Coast Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

Away from work, Nathan finds endless joy spending time with his two boys and lovely wife at the beach or, better yet, at a warm and sunny spot at a river. Nathan also loves playing drums, gardening, camping, being out in nature, and playing soccer out on the pitch.
