Aristea Saulsbury

Aristea joined the Greenway team in 2016 as a Project Coordinator. With over 10 years of work in education and non-profit administration, her experience as a teacher and director equipped her with the skills in organization, multitasking, communication and creativity. Aristea has a particular interest in utilizing visuals, both hand drawn and digital, to help groups effectively communicate.

In her work, Aristea strives to remember the people impacted; she is driven to ensure that an integral part of building an even stronger Humboldt County is fostering equity and compassion.

At 16, she attended College of the Redwoods due to her love and fascination with learning. She soon transferred to Humboldt State University where she received her Bachelors in History. Aristea is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and Change through Pacific Oaks College.

Although there are many causes dear to her, Aristea’s most pressing passion is community building. She loves going to Farmer’s Market on Saturdays and running into past students, clients, and friends. She has a passion for storytelling and plays a mean ukulele. In her spare time, Aristea spends as much time as possible with her daughter, Clio, and partner, Michael. They can be found at soccer games, the park, the movie theater, or making art and reading at home.
