Keith Barnard

Keith brings a range of skills, a deep knowledge, and a wealth of experience in watershed analysis and restoration, stream and fisheries management, topographic mapping, GIS, and CAD design. He’s also particularly passionate about finding projects that benefit the rivers, streams and wetland regions of the North Coast, including Blue Lake, Elk River, and coastal areas.

With Greenway, Keith plays a vital role as a Natural Resources Specialist in the company’s growing Design Division. His CAD expertise is utilized on numerous projects, from construction plans to civil engineering designs. He is also helping to develop Greenway’s GIS capabilities and their ecosystem restoration services by networking with area land managers, private owners, and environmental consultants to explore new project opportunities.

Keith has a Master’s of Science in Fish Biology from Humboldt State University, a degree he has built on to create his knowledge of the region’s environmental issues and solutions.

Keith has been a resident of Blue Lake for nearly 40 years. He balances his time at Greenway by paddle surfing, spending good quality time with his family, and exploring new horizons with elective coursework at Humboldt State University.
